Visibility operation conducted by St James's officers

Dear Resident,

To better engage with locals and deter criminality and antisocial behaviour, your neighbourhood policing team conducted a proactive operation in the ward on the evening of the 5th January. Covering Great Peter Street, Horseferry Road, Old Pye Street, Marsham Street and Abbey Orchard Street, officers patrolled ASB hot spots, engaged with businesses and residents and provided support to the local homeless population.

These high-visibility patrols aim to show would-be offenders that we are present in our community, and similar operations will continue into the year on top of our other engagement work and targeted problem-solving activity.
